For the twelfth time, the Krakow University of Technology has awarded scholarships from its Own Scholarship Fund to the most academically active undergraduates and PhD students. In the summer 2026 edition, 18 people were recognised – 14 undergraduates and 4 PhD students from the Krakow University of Technology Doctoral School. In total, the university has already allocated over PLN 1.6 million for this purpose, supporting 287 young researchers. The PK Doctoral School of PK was represented by: Dr Maria Kurańska, Prof. PK, and Dr Aneta Liber-Kneć, Prof. PK.
The programme, which has been running since 2021, consistently strengthens the research development of the PK community. On 9 June, in the Senate Hall, the winners received their certificates from Vice-Rector Dr Marek Bauer – in an atmosphere of recognition for their passion and achievements.
The scholarships are awarded twice a year, and their value depends on academic achievements – publications, participation in projects or success in competitions. In the latest round, the recipients received a total of over PLN 167,000, gaining tangible support for their further development.
