On 20 January this year, a meeting of representatives of Krakow Doctoral Schools was held, organised as part of the Krakow Doctoral Schools Forum initiative.
The guest of the meeting was the Mayor of Krakow’s Plenipotentiary for Cooperation with the Scientific and Academic Community, Dr Bogna Halska Pionka.
The Doctoral School of the Krakow University of Technology was represented by:
- Dr Małgorzata Cimochowicz Rybicka, Prof. PK – Director of the PK Doctoral School,
- Dr Agnieszka Leśniak, Prof. PK – Deputy Director of the PK Doctoral School.
The purpose of the meeting was to present proposals for cooperation between the City of Krakow and Doctoral Schools. The assumptions of the planned cooperation were presented and potential areas for joint activities were identified. The meeting was also an opportunity for discussion and exchange of opinions and comments from representatives of Doctoral Schools, constituting an important step towards strengthening relations between the academic community and the city council.
