Blended Intensive Programme in Sweden. An international experience for PhD students from the PK Krakow University of Technology Doctoral School
In September 2026, PhD students from the PK Krakow University of Technology Doctoral School took part in the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) held in Sweden. The trip provided a unique opportunity to gain knowledge, develop research skills and build international academic relationships within an academic environment bringing together participants from various European countries. What did the PhD students say after the trip? “Above all, I wanted to meet people from other universities and find out how to meaningfully combine a PhD with the job market outside academia. My expectations were met 100 per cent – the workshops gave me a completely fresh perspective on my skills, and the discussions and exchange of experiences with PhD students from other countries were definitely the best part of the trip.” This is just one of many very positive comments. Each of the PhD students came away with an enthusiastic view of this type of educational programme.
