Doctoral student’s absence

In accordance with the Regulations of the PK Doctoral School, doctoral students are entitled to a maximum of eight weeks of vacation per year, to be taken during periods when there are no classes.

Doctoral students may suspend their studies in the event of: maternity leave, leave on the terms of maternity leave, supplementary maternity leave, paternity leave, or parental leave. In particularly justified cases, doctoral students may also apply for a break in their studies lasting up to a total of two years. The decision to take a break from education is made by the Director of the Doctoral School of CUT. Doctoral students are required to inform the Doctoral School office of their return to education no later than two weeks before their planned return.
