We invite candidates for the first year of studies at the Doctoral School of Cracow University of Technology in the academic year 2024/25 to participate in the exceptional project: STARS EU designed to enrich the educational experience of doctoral students.
The STARS EU project is an extraordinary journey towards new horizons of academic development. Instead of some classes taught with traditional teaching methods, participants will have a unique opportunity to take part in international modules, opening doors to a global network of contacts, inspirations and unique skills.
What does the STARS EU project offer?
• An inspiring stay in Sweden: During a 5-day stay in Sweden, doctoral students will have the opportunity to present their experiences and explore the diversity of doctoral education systems worldwide. It is not just a journey but also a meeting with pioneers of science and study visits that will stimulate imagination and broaden horizons.
• An intensive online module: A 3-week online module will focus on developing practical and strategic skills in career planning. Participants will explore professional development opportunities, gain firsthand knowledge from industry leaders, and shape a career path tailored to their individual ambitions.
The STARS EU project offers unlimited development opportunities:
· International Contacts and Collaboration: Meeting doctoral students and researchers from different countries will lay the groundwork for future international research projects and academic collaboration.
• Inspiring Experiences: Participation in the project will provide participants with inspiring experiences. Meetings with renowned scientists, presentations of successful doctoral careers, and study visits will broaden horizons and expand career opportunities.
• New Skills and Perspectives: The project will focus on practical professional skills necessary both in academia and business, preparing participants for success in the dynamic world of science.
